The school aims at training high-level, application-oriented professionals who are able to engage in legal work for government departments, enterprises and institutions, judicial bodies and financial and securities institutions. To train competent legal professionals, the school emphasizes on pratical teaching. For instance, it sets up a moot court which shows the students the whole process of hearing and deciding a case. Besides, the school has a library of more than 3,000 books and many magazines relate to Marxist philosophy, politics, economics, scientific socialism, history, social scientific, and things like that.
The school offers 4 study programs in legal affairs, legal secretary, administration management and community management services.
The school has a staff of 65 full-time teachers and 18 part-time teachers, including 26 professors and associate professors, 39 of which hold master or doctorate degrees. The staff is both excellent at teaching and research. It has undertook one project supported by National Social Science Foundation and many provincial-level projects.
